About Paul West Corporation After graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1973, Paul West arrived in Midland, Texas as the carpenter foreman for the Hilton hotel. He then began doing cabinet and trim work for the next three years, until he joined Marlin Simpson to form Simpson & West in 1975. Teamed with Simpson, Paul began building custom homes and in 1980 he ventured out to develop Paul West Corporation. At Paul West Corporation we do whatever it takes to put your ideas into life. We build new homes, remodel old homes, add swimming pools, and do some commercial construction as well.
